Sacramental Preparation

St. Agnes Catholic School provides dedicated instruction and preparation for students receiving the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. We partner with our families to nurture a deeper commitment to their Catholic faith.
First Reconciliation and First Holy Eucharist (Grade 2)
- Sacrament preparation is conducted in the second grade.
- For all Catholic second graders, preparation for First Reconciliation occurs during the fall term.
- Students prepare to receive First Holy Communion during the spring term.
Confirmation (Grades 7 and 8)
- Confirmation preparation is a two-year formation process.
- The instruction begins in the 7th grade and culminates in the 8th grade year with the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.
- Instruction is provided by the Religion teacher throughout both years.
Regular Reception of Reconciliation
- Students in Grades 3-8 are given the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation multiple times throughout the school year.
- We strongly encourage all eligible students to receive the Sacrament at other times throughout the year as a vital part of their spiritual growth.
