Bridget Leavens

Bridget Leavens is a sixth-grade teacher at St. Agnes Catholic School. She is originally from Atchison, Kansas. She attended Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana majoring in Political Science with minors in Intercultural Studies and Justice Education. She participated in the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Program through the University of Notre Dame where she received her Masters of Education while teaching 5th grade for two years in Fort Worth, Texas. She then taught English as a Foreign Language for two years in Santiago, Chile through the Chile ACE (ChACE) program. During this time she received her English as a New Language certification through Notre Dame’s ENL program. She then moved to Denver, Colorado and taught 4th and 5th grade for six years before moving back to her home state. She is excited to be a part of the St. Agnes community, along with her husband, Chris, and two sons, Charlie and Jack.
