Prayer for St. Agnes Catholic School Community:
God of Wisdom,
May everything we do begin with your inspiration,
Continue with your help,
And be completed in your love.
Your ways, O Lord, make known to us,
Teach us your paths,
Guide us in your truth,
For you are our God, our Savior.
Amen.
Deepening Our Catholic Faith
At St. Agnes Catholic School, our faith is the heart of our community, woven into the daily life of our students. We offer a variety of ways for students and families to grow spiritually:
Liturgical & Sacramental Life
Weekly Mass and Holy Days: The entire school attends Mass every Wednesday and on all Holy Days of Obligation. Students in grades K-8 also have opportunities to host Masses throughout the year, taking on roles like lector, usher, and choir member.
The Rosary: We gather together to pray the Rosary every Friday afternoon during the months of October and May.
Reconciliation: Students in grades 2-8 participate in the Sacrament of Reconciliation during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
Stations of the Cross: The school community observes Stations of the Cross during Lent.
Faith Formation and Service
Faith Integrated Curriculum: Our Catholic faith isn’t limited to a single class; it’s integrated into every curriculum area to help students see the world through the lens of faith.
Living Our Faith Through Service: We live out our faith by serving others throughout the school year. On Rams Reaching Out day of service, we come together as an entire community to serve others through a partnership with Catholic Charities.
Faith Families: We build community and mentorship through Faith Families. Each family is a small group comprised of students from every grade level (K-8), led by the oldest student. These families attend Mass together and participate in a variety of faith-based activities throughout the school year, fostering friendships and shared learning.
