Heather Reidy is excited to transition into her new role as a 5th-grade teacher at St. Agnes Catholic School. A dedicated educator with a strong background in reading development, she previously served as the school’s Reading Specialist.

Heather earned her B.S. from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, and her M.Ed. from the University of Notre Dame. Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, she moved to Kansas City in 2011. She and her husband, Tim, who is also teacher and coaches at Rockhurst, have twin sons that attend Rockhurst High School and a daughter here at St. Agnes.

With fifteen years of experience as a lead classroom teacher, Heather is passionate about Catholic education and loves to continuously learn new interventions and techniques to better herself as an educator. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys running, playing outside with her children, and cooking.
