The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Saint Agnes Catholic School is a community group comprised of Kindergarten through eighth grade parents, the school administration and the grade school faculty. The primary goal of PTO is to support – through volunteering and fundraising – the teachers and students. The PTO hosts informational meetings, guest speakers, fundraising nights, and community gatherings. All families pay PTO dues which helps to fund classroom supplies, teacher stipends, field trips, all-school assemblies, sacrament celebrations, and Rams Reaching Out Day. Each committee has a chairman who plans and organizes the various activities throughout the year with the help of other parents. Volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated! (Every volunteer must be trained and certified through the Virtus program.) PTO hosts meetings almost every month of the school year. These dates, times and locations can be found on the PTO calendar.
Labels: PTO collects and turns in Box Tops, Best Choice and Campbells labels. The labels are redeemed for cash which is used to buy much needed equipment and other supplies requested by the school.
PTO is a parent led organization and is only successful because of the many parents who get involved and volunteer their time and talents. Everyone has talents and is important. Email to learn more about the various volunteer opportunities and to ask more questions about how you can get involved!
