There are always new, innovative and interesting learning going on in the classrooms. Every classroom works in the STREAM space and the Maker’s Space so the students are always coming up with stories, projects and experiments along the way. Here are just a few of the latest activities going on:
- The kindergartners each had to design and create their own boxcars. It was great fun watching their creative sides design them and then their excitement to watch them compete.
- The 7th graders did a STREAM lesson on sewing! The sewing machines were borrowed and the students each completed their own projects.
- The 5th and 6th graders did a lesson on the Olympics. They studied the history of the event, the changes along the way and provided ‘ideas’ for how to improve the Olympics for the future.
- The preschoolers did a lesson on space including learning about the moon and stars and about astronaut.
