Your Support Helped Us Raise over $270,000!

What a great time we had at the 21st Annual St. Agnes Catholic School Auction on Saturday night! We want to thank you all for your support. You have truly made a difference for students at St. Agnes by raising over $270,000.

Highlights of Anchors Away 2017:

  • Online bidding opened the week of the auction and encouraged participation and enthusiasm before the auction night. The competitive bidding benefits our students! Thank you to the solicitation and data entry committee for soliciting and processing all of the wonderful gifts.
  • We loved seeing your dance moves during the celebration after the live auction! Thank you for keeping the party going to the early morning.
  • We saw great videos showcasing what St. Agnes represents and how our students are becoming the leaders of tomorrow!  Thank you to the group of teachersfor planning, filming, and producing the video.
  • We enjoyed the delicious and beautiful dinner and desserts. Thank you to Sean Duntz and theteam of current parents and parishioners, who put in countless hours to make the memorable meal.
  • We changed the layout and decoration of the gym. This enabled us better flow and a better guest experience. Thank you to the hospitality committee for lending us your expertise and creativity.
  • We implemented a new way to signup to volunteer. Our volunteersfrom the school families, friends, and parishioners were fantastic! 118 school families donated over 2,500 hours to the auction.
  • You helped us raise over $57,000.00 in our Fund-A-Need to help us build our own STREAM labs.
  • You helped us raise over $35,000.00 in Car Raffle Tickets. Thank you Don & Patty Kincaid and State Line Nissan for donating the 2017 Nissan Sentra SR.
  • Thank you to auction chairs Matt & Shawna Wright for their leadership to make this year’s auction a success.
  • We look forward to working with incoming auction chairs Yoly and Larry Nordling to make the 2018 auction another proud and successful event.

It’s here! St. Agnes Auction

It’s this weekend…hope you have a baby-sitter (if you need one) and your sailing clothes are packed!  There is a lot to celebrate and we’re glad your joining us this Saturday, February 18.  We’ve got an evening planned of fun, festivities and fundraising to benefit the students of St. Agnes.

Silent Auction and Special Opportunities will start the evening…here is a rundown of our evening:

4:30pm     Mass
5:30pm     Doors Open:  Check-in and dinner service begins
7:45pm     Program begins
8:00pm     Live auction begins, dinner service ends
10:00pm   Last silent auction room closes
10:30pm   Live auction ends, car raffle
10:45pm   DJ Flo starts the party
1:00am      Party ends

Fund-a-Need Announcement–We need you!

At the 21st Annual Auction on Saturday, February 18, we’ll be raising much needed funds so we can continue to offer the quality education that St. Agnes is known for including spiritual, academic, physical and emotional growth for all our students.

This year, our fund-a-need project will be our very own STREAM Studio.  St. Agnes is ready to make Science Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) come alive in our school! Our entire school (K-8th) has been introduced to STEAM in hands-on activities in the classroom, here are just a few examples:

  • Attending STEAM focused field trips like STARBASE and STEAM Studio at Gould Evans
  • STREAM time every Wednesday in the Middle School where students conduct hands-on activities with professionals in all the STREAM areas
  • Project Lead the Way in the 7th and 8th grades where students gain the necessary critical thinking skills to become STREAM proficient leaders

Our St. Agnes community is ready to take our STREAM focus to the next level by creating two dynamic areas where students in all grades can participate in a wonderful project-based learning environment. In order to do this, we need a space where our students are actively engaged in their learning. We need you! Donate as part of the Fund-a-Need during the auction, and we can make the STREAM experience come alive for our students at St. Agnes.

Auction February 18!

The anticipated St. Agnes event of the year is right around the corner!  It’s a great tradition and you won’t to miss it.  There is a role for everyone.

Highlights!

  • Sell those car raffle tickets!  There are incentives so you won’t want to miss it.
  • All families are asked to solicit or donate 2 or more gifts worth at least $25 each.
  • Please consider volunteering prior to and/or during the auction. It is expected each family donate at least 5 hours of time. There are various opportunities to volunteer prior to and during the event.

Get your baby-sitter now…you won’t want to miss Trivia Night on Saturday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m.  This is the one and only gift gathering party for the 2017 Auction!  Don’t miss it!trivia-night-graphic-rsvp

Admission at the door is a $25 minimum, and can be given as a donation, gift card or a tangible item worth at least $25.

  • Bring your own beverages and food.
  • Build your own table or tables can be assigned by grade.
  • The grade with the most participants will win an ice cream party! (Please put your children’s grades in your RSVP.)
