🍽️👏 Today, some of our amazing students volunteered at Nourish KC, demonstrating their commitment to serving the community. Nourish KC offers two shifts every weekday—a three-hour morning shift and a four-hour afternoon shift. Our students were hands-on, helping to clean and cut produce, plate food, tidy the kitchen, and serve meals to guests. We're incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication to making a difference. During their farm unit, Pre-K made butter! They learned that when you milk a cow if you wait a little bit the fat comes to the top and that is how you get “heavy cream.” They talked about how if you shake that heavy cream enough it will turn into butter! After consistently shaking our heavy cream for about 20 minutes the class was able to try “the best butter they ever had” on a cracker. #stagnesrams

An astronomical adventure! Our students turned their eyes to the skies to observe the partial solar eclipse. Beyond witnessing this natural wonder, some students took on the role of young scientists, recording the temperature changes that occurred during the eclipse and graphing their findings. This hands-on learning experience not only brought the wonders of the universe closer but also highlighted the intriguing ways our world works. 🌟🌡️ #SolarEclipse #stagnesrams
